Food was AMAZING and the portions were great! Left stuffed and kids were happy with the items on the kids menu.

Sunday afternoon. No parking in their massive parking lot. Good sign! Very few tables, yet another good sign. Ordered the food...I got the BBQ brisket sandwich with oh my mashed potatoes. incredible food and if you're ever in this really neat town, I highly recommend eating here!

Overall an ok experience. The restaurant was very busy so that is a plus but the lack of masks was worrisome. Our order was ready for pickup at the right time which is also a plus. My main critique was the find itself. The meat was well made but a touch dry. The sides were subpar, as in Mac and Cheese that was not flavorful nor was the coleslaw. The fries and fried pickles were not in-house fresh and loaded with salt. I just felt there was a lack of quality with the meal. Served quickly and to order yes, but in an odd way, the lack of passion for the ingredients was showing itself. This was a first time order for me and I am afraid it will be a last for now. I hope the quality of the food can be upgraded.

We're on the road from Indiana so we stopped for some BBQ. The food was outstanding! Clean! Alexis G. Was our server and she was incredible! We will definitely be sure to come back!

The appetizer was amazing.. it came out in a timely fashion. Then the meal itself was not that good. My food has been hotter when I take it to go. My server was saying how she only had 2 tables but never refilled our drinks until after my meal hit the table. She never even asked how our appetizer was. Never touched base about our food taking so long. She was saying how thankful she was to be back to work. She didn't show it with great customer service. She would of got a REALLY good tip from me if she would of been on her game a little more.. please improve that.. I will stick to take out from this place. This is the 5th time I have tried to eat inside and that will not happen anymore.

Was there on the Fourth of July so it was pretty busy! The service was ok but the food was great! The meet fell right off the bone of the ribs and the sides were yummy! I will go back again next time I’m in town!

Great food, very nice server. Got the pulled pork and Mac and cheese, wife got salad and all of these things were excellent. Not bad on pricing either. Plenty of tvs for just about any sport you’re interested in.

The only thing that could have been better. I ordered a club sandwich expecting smoked ham and turkey. But got regular Deli meat. The sever was great.

Ordered on UE and I wasn't disappointed. Absolutely amazing food. The pork belly was perfect, fried cheese out of this world, corn muffins melt in the mouth absolutely perfect. This is my new go to in Altoona when I'm passing through.

Fantastic service! The perfect sweet tea for my taste! Not overly sweet. Food was fast and fresh!

I got the ribs and burnt ends. My bill was about $22. I got the end of the rack which is usually very tough, it was dry and not edible. The burnt ends were pretty good, but also a little tough. The rubs and sauces are very sweet. My server was awesome however. Very attentive and friendly. I’d come back again if I’m in the area, but i wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.

They are holding it down and smoking it up in this extremely rancid time in history. Loved it

I had the tenderloin. Haven't been back to Iowa in 5 years and I know now why I miss it so much. Pork was tender and the breading was perfect. Follow it up with awesome onion rings

Food when good is one of the best in town. However there has been occasionally bad food and one time I ordered no pickles as I have a pickle allergy and there were 18 pickles lining the bottom of the plate.

Awesome joint !!!I had Jethro's which has (count'em--4 kinds of pork) everyone else loved the food too !!!Parking lot was full, so I was scared to ask the lovely Ms. Meredith for a table for 9. She smiled and joked with me and got us right in, after a brief moment outside perusing the menu. Then Ms. Tara took over and it was great service !!! From food questions, to beer samples, to splitting the check 4 ways. Love it !!I know a landlord and building in Denver that would keep you busy--Glendale CO. 2 sand volleyball courts in back too !!Let me know, some of your key people may want to move there.Thanks again for great food and wonderful staff. This restaurant has great food, great service, and great drinks! Perfect place to stop after visiting adventure land.

Loved the food, came out fast and it was so delicious also they are huge portions! Our waiter was super cool too, very friendly and funny and got us everything we needed!

Great place to eat if your from out of town and staying at the adventure land inn. 1st great service they were very busy so grabbed a few drinks at the bar. 2nd was served by a friendly waitress who was awesome to my wife and 2 kids. 3rd food was great large portions which I like! 4th food tasted great, we all got something different so got to see a wide variety of items. It Seemed as though everything was homemade, not just taken out of a can and spruced up somehow.

Great food. Huge portions. Excellent local craft beer selection. Chris our waiter made the experience even better. Highly recommended.

Second time, hope the system accepts it this time. Very good--not a huge fan of sugar with my meat but I know most of you are, this has a hint and you'll love it. Huge variety of sauces. I had ribs and turkey, my friend had salad with chicken. Mac and cheese really good, highly recommend. Great ambience, wait staff very attentive and knew what we needed before we did, but not at all hovering. Prices very reasonable, too. The restrooms are decorated with local and national media coverage - - check it out, a fun way to advertise. Bar with a full selection and menu.

The food is pretty good. Not 3⭐ but it's ok. It took 20+ minutes just to get our order taken.... As I was picking up my keys to just walk out the waitress walked by for like the 6th time and hubby flagged her down. I was already DONE.... Between the music being to toooo loud and the lack of service We won't be back...

Amazing food! Do not pass this place up! Seriously some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. My husband and I split the dinner for two which included half a rack or ribs, 2 meats and 4 sides for about $25. Every single item was amazing and tasted freshly prepared. No frozen green beans, tasteless instant potatoes, etc. You can’t beat the price and quality of this food! The interior is a cozy bar and with friendly service. I highly recommend Jethro’s to anyone passing by! I wish there were some of these on the east coast!

Everything was so good! From the mashed potatoes and potato salad to the brisket and pulled pork! Sauce was great too! Will be by again next time we’re in the area!!

We had the most excellent lunch here. We are from out of town and asked for the low down from our waitress. She told us a lot about the restaurant and made some recommendations. We got Jethro's tasting ribs, the slow smoked wings and the boneless wings. The slow smoked wings (with buffalo sauce) was our favorite! The ribs (with the BBQ) were decadent and dipped in Jethro's BBQ sauce they were even better. Would definitely come back!

Not bad, but not impressed either. Great staff, but average food. I was hoping for something "more", but my whole family thought that my amateur driveway ribs and briskets were more authentic than Jethro's. I don't think that my cooking is that good, but even I agreed with them this time. Sorry guys -- make up your minds about whether you want to be a sports bar or a BBQ place, because right now "sports bar" is winning out over "BBQ".

One of the best BBq places around. The pork Tenderloin here is an Iowa staple. Highly recommend

The waiter was nice. They were pretty quick took maybe 15 minutes for our food to arrive. The food was disgusting and they give you to much food to last for 2-3 meals. I ordered chicken tenders and it did not look like chicken or taste like chicken, it tasted more like fish. I’m gonna try avoid This restaurant and go to the Mexican one down the street instead!!

The place is okay. Its really cute on the inside. Food wasnt the great but wasn't the worse. I really enjoy the raspberry habanero boneless wings. The menu itself doesn't have a wide selection. The Drink menu is also small. I enjoyed the drakes tea tho. I server was friendly. A little upset with the one server who stood there talking to his friend and watched us stand there waiting to be seated. Over all its a decent place. Not my favorite good enough to eat at.

Busy and crowded but we were seated quickly. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu had great options for reasonable prices. The food came out and was fresh, plentiful & tasted great. Smoked turkey, sauces, corn bread, mac & cheese...all delicious!

Had the Texas Dip, with jalepeno corn and Mac and cheese. Only drank half my captain diet before food arrived. Very well executed meal.

We've have eaten at Jethro's for years but last Thursday maybe our last time. We ordered food to go and the order was on time. The brisket was sliced thinner than normal and tough. The burnt ends were so tough you could hardly eat them. All the meat was cold but the sides were good and also hot but the sweet potato fries were not done. We've always loved it before.

Love this place! The bartender was awesome, she was friendly and moved with a sense of purpose!

We arrived at this place for lunch. This place was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very successful. the crew were so friendly and we felt fantastic. The food was just great. We had a great time and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Recommended.

We had the dinner for 2 with brisket and pulled pork. When the plate came to the table I could have sworn there was enough food for the 4 of us a t the table. Great prices and great food
